I'm Ginger Canning
I'm Ginger Canning—an astrologer, tarot reader, and Reiki Master Teacher. I meet people wherever they are on their journey.
Dharma Constellations brings together years of learning, practice, and a love of supporting others. It's a space to explore who you are, reconnect with your own wisdom, and find meaning and direction in the season of life you're in.
Curiosity, Playfulness & Forever Learning
I came to this work through a desire to fully understand myself, but to do that I had to fully step into who I am. I had to allow myself to take up space. I had to get comfortable in my body. I came to understand that beingness is central to doing. And then, something deeper began to emerge… a confidence, a knowing. And then I realized that all I have been through up until now has prepared me for service to guide others into self-understanding.
Astrology has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom was a Sun sign astrologer, so I grew up with astrology and always had a natural curiosity about it. At the same time, I never fully resonated with the description of my Sun sign alone.
It wasn't until much later, when I discovered the other parts and layers of the birth chart, that astrology truly blew me away. For the first time, I saw parts of myself reflected back to me that I had always felt but hadn't necessarily understood or had language for.
Astrology gave me a deeper understanding of myself than any other modality I had explored.
Over the years, that curiosity became a much more serious area of study. I've had the opportunity to learn from some incredible teachers in both astrology and tarot, and I began studying charts, exploring the many layers beyond Sun signs, and eventually reading for other people.
Tarot became another part of my work. I read intuitively, exploring the archetypes in the cards and the energy surrounding what is happening in your life right now. Together, we look at what is present, what may be asking for attention, and the possibilities beginning to emerge. I love the space a reading creates for reflection, honest questions, and a deeper trust in what you already know.
Reiki came into my life as another layer of that journey. I eventually became a Reiki Master Teacher, and over time I've become increasingly interested in not only offering Reiki but mentoring others as they learn to embody and trust it.
That's what I'm developing now with the Dharma Reiki Mentorship. It is much more about embodiment and practice than simply moving through levels and collecting certifications. I want people to live with Reiki, practise it, develop confidence in it, and discover what it becomes within their own lives.

What It's Like to Work With Me
I'm a teacher at heart, and I naturally share what I've learned as we explore together. I welcome your questions and take time to explain what comes up, so you can connect it with your own life.
There's room to pause, ask for clarity, and follow what feels meaningful to you. I welcome follow-up questions, too—you may find that something settles into place or sparks your curiosity after our time together.
My hope is that you leave feeling heard, with a richer understanding of yourself and something meaningful to carry into your everyday life.
